Hi Ron, in one of your followups, you mentioned a couple of names in my family. My grandfather was William Daniel Eaker, had a brother in Jackson, Mo named Peter. His wife, my grandmother was a Hindman, same area. She had a sister, Lillie Hindman Shell, married to Benjamin Shell.
My mother tells me and my tribe of twelve, counting grandkids, are in "The Shoecobbler's Kin". There are still quite a few of that branch around Bloomfield, and Sikeston.
We still have an Eaker Reunion around Bloomfield or Dexter.
