It is possible that Tilly Waylon and Sally Traylor are one in the same. However, I believe them to be two different people. I did research in Granville Co at the Oxford library and in Raliegh. It was years ago and I do not off hand recall the source of documents, will have to knock the dust off and research my own notes. Also years ago I received a large family tree from a Mr. R.W. Eakes, who then lived in Gainesville, FL. His chart shows a Zachariah born in ca 1770 married to a woman named Willow, subsequently figured out it was Tilly Waylon. This Zachariah shows a brother, Isiah, married to a Mary, and a sister, Janey, married to John Tally. It further shows that their father is a Zachariah born in 1740, and this may be the husband of Sally Traylor. What info do you have on her? As far as I know, the Zachariah Eakes of 1770, had at least five children, Woodson, Edmund, Zachariah, Beverly, and James. This Zachariah, was married to Jane, and their children are listed as Jane, Eliza, Spencer, Indiana, Sarah, Martha, John, and Martitia. Let me know what you have on Sally Traylor. Thanks.
