From NC marriage book,I find Zachariah Eaks to Sally Traylor Nov. 8, 1788. You have a Zach born 1770 m.to Willow(Tilly Waylon)The date would seem right for this marriage. I have Zachariah m. to Jane Tuck May 10, 1831. Besides the children you listed for them I also have John Sumner,Laura E,and David Washington. I have a copy of the Will of this Zachariah if you are interested. I am from the line of two of the children of Zachariah Eakes and Jane Tuck. Spencer Eakes m. Mary Frazier,their child was Minna Eakes.
Sarah Eakes m. Alexander Newton, their child Joseph D. Newton. Joseph Newton and Minna Eakes, lst cousins married. I am interested in any information you have on this line. Do you have anything further back than the first Zachariah that you list? What area do you have them first living in? Glad to share what I have.
