Well, it appears we have resolved one mystery. Tilly Waylon (Willow) and Sally Traylor are one in the same. From a NC marriage book, I found the same marriage date of Nov. 8, 1788 for Zachariah and Tilly. The same marriage book shows the marriage of Zachariah and Jane Luck, as May 10, 1831, but we could easily deduce that Luck and Tuck were one in the same. I'm going to have to dig around to see if I have anything on Joseph and Minna, they do not ring a bell at this time. There is a Zachariah Eaks listed in the 1800 and 1810 census of NC in Granville Co. In the court minutes of Granville Co., 1800-1802, there is a Zach Eaks listed. Basically had to do with a paternity suit. There is also a book "Kinfolks of Granville NC 1765-1826" by Zae Hargett Gwynn, page 273, that has a 1769 Tax list reporting a Zachariah Eaks-1 white. It would appear the family was in Granville Co. prior to the Revolutionary War. Beyond that Zachariah Eaks, there is a William, probably his brother, but from the chart of R.W.Eakes, there are three names not connected but preceding Zachariah. they are Jim, George and Joe. There is also a Timothy Eaks, who more than likely is the brother of the aforementioned William and Zachariah. Just haven't been able to make the connection. I would be very interested in a copy of the will you mentioned. Glad to share, it's the only way we can fill in the gaps of our family. Thanks.
