Pat,
Absalom A. Sheppard and Rebecca Eaken [aff. she is age 18] were married Nov. 10,1835.
This marriage is recorded in the marriage records of Lawrence Co.,Ms. Could the Aff. mean that she was over 18 years of age ????
If you look at the 1830 this could be your David and Mary Eakin.
Missing children would be
David b. 1816,male 10- 15, he would be 14 in 1830
Martha b. 1817, female 10-15, she would be 13 in 1830
Ily unknown b. 1819, would be 10 in 1830
could these 3 children have died before the 1830 census???
All other children seem to match up
Rebecca b. 1813, female 15-20
William b. 1814, male 15-20
Samuel David b. 1820, male 10-15
Mary Maelissa b. 1823, female 5-10
John David b. 1824, male under 10
Robert James b. 1826, male under 10
Elias B. b. 1828, male under 10
the last child Mararette was not born until 1833.
David Eakin would be about 46,male 40-50
Mary McIntire would be about 44, female 40-50

Wanda
