Pat,
The Martha Eakin that married Wm. Stuckey is the sister of my William G. Eakin [b. abt.1811].
Robert Eakin that married Susan Gordon I think is the brother of William Eakin,Sr. and if your David Eakin is a brother then Robert would be his brother also.
My William Eakin Sr. was b. 1780 in Ireland.
Robert Eakin was b. 1806 in Ireland, he may be a younger brother of William Eakin sr[1780] or a nephew. Have not made a connection yet.
One family story is 5 brothers came from Ireland together and another family story is a widowed mother and 5 sons came over from Ireland. I am looking at the Eakin men in York,S.C. as being those brothers, as there is a Sarah Eakin listed as HOH also in the 1790 census of York,S.C.
These Stuckey marriages are part of the family that my Martha Eakin married into.
