I'm trying to find information on Elizabeth EAKIN, who married David HOWE sometime in the late 1700s. They had a son, Hiram HOWE, 12 May 1798, in SC (probably York County). Hiram HOWE and his wife, Martha "Patsy" GAMMON, named their first child Alexander Akin HOWE. He was born 31 Jan 1827 in Jones County, GA. I am wondering if this child was named for the father of Elizabeth EAKIN? Does anyone have anything regarding Alexander EAKIN? Does anyone know who the parents of Elizabeth EAKIN are?
