Does anyone know who the HOWE was that NANCY EAKINS/AKINS, daughter of ALEXANDER EAKINS/AKINS, SR. and his wife, NANCY Unknown, married? Nancy was b.ABT 1780. She d. 06 JUL 1798. She was 18 yrs. old. She died not long after the birth of her son, Hiram Howe (b. 12 MAY 1798 in York Co., SC; d. 19 OCT 1875 in Pike Co., GA). NANCY EAKINS/AKINS HOWE is buried at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cem., in Clover, York Co., SC. HIRAM HOWE was most likely her only child.
I have not been able to figure out which of the Howes in York Co., SC she married. I think he was prob. a son of Joseph Howe and Isabella Dunlap Howe, but have no idea which one. Does anyone know which Howe Nancy married?
