My sincere appologies for my former post. Had a name mix up.
It isn't Ambrose Eakin, it's AMBERS Leon Eakin from Washington PA. He married Carrie B. Taylor and lived on Chestnut St. They had seven sons and one daughter.
Fay Kendall (my Grandfather), Leon, Shan, Fred, Charlie, Glade, Glen, and Flossie. Ambers was a City Coucilman when Washington was still a Township.
Fay married Leota Rettinger and lived in the same house on Chestnut St. He too was City Councilman for a number of years. They raised Fay Kendall Eakin Jr. and Delores.
Fay Jr. married Margaret Zgainer, all of Washington, and had three children, which I am the oldest. Wesley Fay, Jill Louise, and Bruce Kendall.
Looking for infomation on Ambers family and decendents.
