Looking for nfo on Botetout Co., VA Eakins

I am a direct descendant of Eakins in Catwaba, Virginia going back to the 1700's. I have photographs of nearly 30 headstones belonging to the Eakins in this area in our family plot but I am looking into the possible connection of 2 tombstones, Samuel Eakin and Redmond Eakin, as possible children of the Rev. Samuel Eakin. If anyone has any info on this, or would like info on the Botetout Co. Eakins, let me know please. Thanks.

I also have digital scans of letters from John Eakin to his wife Susannah Eakin written during the civil war if this is of interest to anyone related to the Eakins, Brillharts, or McCulloghs of Western VA. John Eakin served in the 22nd Co. of VA during the Civil War.
