I am from the line of Joseph Eakins Sr, born 1773, Irland, died, 29 April 1847, Abbeville, S.C., long cane cem. Married Sarah Wilson, born 1775, died 18 Aug 1847, long cane cem. Children, Elizabeth S. Eakins, Nathaniel Eakins, William W. Eakins, Mary Eakins, no info on them, other children, Thomas Eakins, b. 1799, d. 1873, Eakins family cem, Abbiville, S. C., married Matilda Cason, b. 23 Jan 1800, d. 27 Aug, 1885, same cem., Benjamin H. Eakins, b. 9 Sept, 1820, d. 3 Aug 1892, S.C., married Eveline Nickles, d. 13 Feb 1882, The next child is Joseph Eakins Jr. of which i am from, he married Elizabeth, they had a son George Eakins born in S.C. he married Mathew Amos Douglas, an american indian so i am told. they moved to Florida about 1859. I am looking for info on Joseph jr. I do not have any other info on Jr. Could we be of the same line or close kin. I will share info with anyone willing to share.
