I am searching for Joseph Eakins Jr. of Abbiville, S.C. His wife was Elizabeth. Joseph died young, but left several children. Elizabeth gave them to Josephs brother. Josephs son George Eakins married Mathew Amos Douglas, S.C., an american indian. They moved to Taylor County, Florida about 1859. I have only the name of Joseph and his wife, Elizabeth, no dates. Joseph was the son of Joseph Eakins Sr., 1773, Irland- 1847, Abbeville, S.C. and Sarah Wilson, 1775-1847. I hope someone can help with some dates. I am willing to share information.
