Good Afternoon,
I am seeking information on My great grandmother. I believe her name was Birdie May Akins or Eakins. She may have been born in Oklahoma or Kentucky.She may have had a Indian ancestor(grandmother?). I seem to recall she may have had a sister Adda and/or Dorothy. I believe she married a man named (Roy?) Thompson, in the St. Louis, Mo. area who could have been stationed in Mo. but was in english miltary, WW1. He left her. They had one son Ernest Tueman Thompson. Ernest believed his mother had a baby girl after her husband left and she was put up for adoption. Birdie May remarried but was in an car accident sometime later. She lived but was rather simple afterward, likely pretty dolls and sparkly things. If this rings a bell with anyone please post a reply. I am most thankful.
