I do not know where this Edward Eakins, ancestor of your husband, lived. I know of an Edward Eakins, born in Ireland, who was married to a Sarah in about 1878, near Manchester, England. His second wife was Elizabeth Hill Battman, born in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England. She was a first cousin of my paternal grandfather. Please let me know either way, thank-you. Connie Williams.
