Relation to Alexander, David, and Samuel T. Eakins

My family history has that my ggrandfather George (b. 1858, St. Lawrence Co., NY, d. 1921, Mauston, Juneau Co., WI) corresponded with Thomas (the artist) and even had a couple of small drawings. Unfortunately, the family farm burned taking everything with it. I've been able to trace my line back through George to Joseph (b. 1831, Dundee, Sct, (possibly Ire.) d. 1865), to Peter (b. 1800, Ire, d. 1888, St. Lawrence Co., NY). Peter reportedly was the youngest of 15 children. His second wife's (Elizabeth Baird, b.1815, Ire., d. 1902, St. Lawrence Co., NY, immigrated 1844) brother supposedly married Peter's sister Susannah. With the exception of Susannah, I have no information on Peter's siblings. I'm trying to find out about Peter's siblings and ancestors and noticed that Alexander, David, and Samson immigrated in 1812. So, I'm most interested if there is a connection. Also there seems to be a lot of common names between my line and the ones concerning the Samuel T. Eakins thread. One post also mentioned a Jane Gillespie. My gggrandfather's (Joseph) wife was a Jane Gillespie. I have quite a bit of information on the Gillespie's and on Peter's descendents, but have not had a lot of luck on Peter's generation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm more than willing to share my information and sources.

P.S. I tried emailing Cary Hogan and it's a dead address. Anyone have the current one?
