Isaiah Eakins probably arrived in Philadelphia about 1810 from Ireland or Scotland. His wife was Catherine. Son Samuel married Christiana Moser. They lived in an area of Philadelpia called Fishtown today but called Kensington in the 19th C. Samuel was a jeweler by trade with business in Phildelphia and Pittsburgh. Samuel was also an inventor. He was the commander of the "Alligator" submarine during the Civil War. Looking for anyone who is related to this line.
