I have information regarding the surname 'EAKLE'. Henry Eakle was born in Maryland, and married Mary May 'Polly' Poffenberger from Va, Shendoah Valley. Their child was Jonathan EAKLE born January 1816 in Tennessee. Jonathan married Elizabeth HAMMER born in KY April 1812. Jonathan and Elizabeth's child was William Henry EAKLE born 1846 in Tennessee, he married Nancy Ann COPASS. Wm. and Nancy's child was Mack Clayton EAKLE born 1882 and he married Vadie SLATE. Their child was Odessa EAKLE. Odessa married Glen EMBERTON.
I have shown only direct decendency to myself, and have some information on siblings of these ancestors.
