The Holland connection may have been where the ship departed, but my info was northern Germany. I am sure you know that William Turner Eakle is from the second marriage of Henry Eakle (born 1775) and Phoebe York (m. 20 June 1842 in Tennessee. They are listed in the 1850 Jackson County, Tn census. William Turner Eakle and his first wife, Lucinda Jane Cox are listed in the 1880 Clay County Tn census.

I have been working on this Eakle line for about 25 years and have contacts with many who are also working on it.
