I have info on Christian Eakle:
Accordion to my record he did not live in Virginia.
He had a son John Baker that was born in Md., but lived in New Hope, Va. and was married to an a Elizabeth Barger. Here they opened a tavern known as "Aerie" (or Eagles nest.)
I don't have the name Johann on the front of Christain Eakle's name. My uncle and father didn't have anything further back then Christain either. Didi you know there were several spellings of "EAKLE" when they came to this Country?
