I have noticed on a few sites that Johann Herman Ekell is listed as son of Andreas. Awhile back I accidentally posted a copy of my file on my website and when I realized the mistake I immediately took it off an posted the correct file. I have seen a copy of a book about the Eckel family and is shows that Andreas Eckel's son Johannes was born and died wrong dates to be Johann Herman Ekell. I guess the person who posted the information that I used had wrong dates. Sorry for accidentally starting this mistake.

All of the people I have gotten information have given me informatio that they have sources for or given to them from family members. One source of information I have I keep asking her about her sources and all she says was that it's courthouse record, birth, death certificates. I am finding that either the people who wrote the information down or she didn't spell their names correctly. I have found from relatives of the people that they didn't use the spelling of their name as this person had on file.

God Bless
