My grandmother had said that Amelia Earhart was a cousin of hers but I have not found the connection. I did find that she was related to Arehart/Earhart. These are ancestors that I have found. Michael Earhart b. abt. 1755 died June 2, 1837 mrd. Christine Decker. - George Earhart b. abt. 1779 d. Jan. 17, 1838 - William Marks Arehart b. June 5, 1813 Ohio died Sept. 10, 1883 Chetopa, Labette County, KS married Jane Garrigus Dec. 25, 1838 in Butler County, Ohio. - Florence Ali Arehart born Mar. 8, 1885 Cincinnati, Ohio died Jan. 25, 1885 Chetopa, KS mrd. 1.) John Fee (2) George W. Ewers
Have you come across any of these names in your research? My grandmother recalled going to see her cousin, Amelia and her plane....? Any help would be appreciated.
