Hi Mary:
I am also a descendant of Philip & Mary Funk Earhart through their son John S.Earhart,John Brendel/Brendle Earhart,William Washington Earhart,William Henry Earhart, David Finley Earhart, Henry Gordon Earhart, then me, Barbara Earhart Dier. In 2000, I visited Jefferson Co., KY in hopes of finding Mary Funk Earhart's place of burial. I did find Jacob Funk's home that was built in 1792 and lived in by his wife Anne (Roland/Rowland) Funk & her son John Funk. From there I went to Elizabethtown, where Mary Funk Earhart died while living with her daughter Mary Arnold in 1826.(or so I was told). I was also told her burial was on the Ft. Knox Res., but I didn't have time to go looking. I would like to share info with you. regards, Barbara
