I am researching the Civil War in NE Missouri and was wondering if you know if your William H. Earhart (son of Phillip M. Earhart and of Marion County, MO) was one of the men on the execution list at Macon, MO of Sept 23, 1862 - scheduled to be executed on Sept 27. There were 11 men on the execution order, but only 10 were killed. William H. Earhart was on the list but not executed. Do you know anything about this?
