Elizabeth "Betsey/Betsy" Earle(s)

My g-g grandmother was Elizabeth "Betsey/Betsy" Earle(s). She was born ca 1805 in South Carolina. She married Francis Yeilding in Blount County, Alabama on 21 May 1821. The marriage license says that they were married "at the home of her father". So between the time of her birth and her mariage she moved (apparently with the rest of her family) to Blount County, Alabama. The family Bible of her Step Father (Richard Yeilding) gives her name as "Williams"'; however, the Williams is marked out! On her application for pension as a widow of the 1812 war she says that her name is Earles and that she has never been married before. She named her second child William Berry Yeilding, giving me some reason to think that she may be related to Joseph Berry Earle. In Mr. Landrum's book re South Carolina, he lists several Earles, but not this particular Elizabeth. She died 28 November 1885 in Blount County, Alabama. Can anyone provide a clue as to who the parents of Elizabeth "Betsey" Earle(s) are? I seem to have hit a brick wall in trying to locate them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
