Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Tom,

Have tried to e-mail you, get a return message.

Please see Message #320 on the EARLE genforum site. This info comes from "The Earles and The Birnies", 1974, by Joseph Earle Birnie, and "The Venturers: The Hampton, Harrison and Earle Families of Virginia, South Carolina and Texas", 1981, 1991, by Virginia G. Meynard. Both are well-researched, document John Earle of Va, Samuel I, II, and III, and follow the three sons of Samuel Earle III who migrated to South Carolina: Baylis and John (sons of Anna Sorrell), and Elias (son of Frances Wilton Robinson).

There is little on Sam IV (son of Anna Sorrell): he married Ms Perkins, and died in 1752.

Sam IV (son of Elizabeth Holbrook) was born in 1760, married Tabitha Williams, moved to Christian Co., KY, had six children, died in Mobile, Alabama.

We all need to share information! Wilton
