I am interested in learning more about the nine Earles boys who served in Company F (from Coffee County) of the 44th Tennessee Infantry which became Co. D, 44th Consolidated Infantry in April 1862.
Elias Earles was conscripted in June 1863. He served 2 weeks before deserting.
James Earles served from Dec 1861 until he deserted in Jan 1863.
J. L. Earles was a surgeon.
Lewis Earles (b. 1844) deserted in May 1862.
Mack Earles died in Nashville in Jan 1862.
Martin Earles and N.J. Earles also died in 1862.
Nathan L. Earles was conscripted in March 1863. He served 2 weeks before deserting.
Pleasant Earles deserted in December 1862.
What happened to these guys? Any snippets of information would be appeaciated.
