Hello,

Here is what info I have on Richmond N. Earls. He was one of nine children of Martin Earles and wife, Nancy 'Nona' England. Martin's family originally was from Rutherford County, North Carolina. Martin's family was settled in Warren County, Tennessee by at least 1830, as evidenced by the 1830 Federal Census of Warren County, Tennessee. Richmond was born about 1834 at Warren County, Tennessee; he married Mahala McBride sometime after 1850. Richmond is listed with his parents and six of his siblings in the 1850 Federal Census of Warren County, Tennessee. Richmond died at Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas and is buried at Eastview Cemetery, Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas. His brother, Pleasant Alexander (P.A.) Earles, is buried next to him. Pleasant was my great-great-grandfather.
