Have traced my family also back to White Co., Tn. Believe that Pleasant Earles may have been father of James Martin Earles and possibly Wm.Pleasant Earles. James Martin moved to Grayson County, Kentucky. Worked in timber. James Martin Earles, father of George Cida Earles, who was father of George Willard Earles, who is my father. Several years ago, I talked to David Earles who lives close to Sparta, Tn. He is also a descendant of Pleasant Earles. Please let me know what else you may have found. I'll reply later if I learn more. Thanks.
