anyone want to share mtDNA results? i am adopted, been seeking my choctaw grandmother about 12 years. my mtDNA results showed that although i have some dna "cousins" who are registered members of the Cherokee Nation, my dna is part of an anomalyous group, possibly Powhatan since many have either a tree or a family lengend back to Pocahontas. results: HVR1: 183c 189c 261t 519c 193.1c
HVR2: 263g 309.1c 309.2c 315.1c and 93g associated with morning sickness during pregnancy. always looking for cousins since it helps my research, ESPECIALLY anyone with roots in Estill, Lee or Wolfe County KY. thanks!
