My family's surname is Eastlack, but my dad has traced it back to the Eastlakes of Devonshire England.
Our ancestor's name was Samuel Eastlack and he was a Quaker Pastor in England. Due to persecution there, he moved to Bermuda. He then moved to south Jersey, where my dad and his family grew up.
I don't know about a book and I'm not sure about Francis Eastlake, but I would love to know the connection between the two!
Please let me know if you find out any more information!

Bethany Eastlack (Stempert), Atl. GA
