The Eaton Family Association
Representing the descendants of the early settlers of that name in New England, was organized in
Boston, 22nd July, 1882, for the purpose of compiling and preserving the records of the families of
the name EATON. The Association consists of about 200 members residing in all parts of the United
States.
Where the Eaton's came from in England has not yet been ascertained, but investigation is continually
being made.
The principal founders of Eaton Families in New England, who came before 1640, were;
I. Francis Eaton, of the Mayflower, Plymouth, 1620
II. John Eaton, of Dedham
III. John Eaton, of Haverhill
IV. Jonas Eaton, of Reading,
V. William Eaton, of Reading
The last four came to America from 1634 to 1640.
Besides these are families of the name descended from early settlers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania,
Maryland, and Virginia
source: The Nova Scotia Eatons, compiled by Rev. Arthur Wentworth Hamilton Eaton, 1885.
Additional note. This Association was disbanded in the mid 1890's due to lack of participation,

My question, Rick is simple. Why pay anything when we can do it for free??Am I in????Oh yeah!!!!
How is this for a start??
