Robert William Ebright
Chino Valley, AZ
Formerly of Williamston, MI

Robert was born on February 24, 1931, and went home to be with the Lord on August 15, 2007. Bob had battled a rare disease for 30 years, even though doctors had given him two years to survive it. Bob grew up in Haslett, MI with his sisters, Jan, Darlene, and wonderful mother Marguerite. Bob was an excellent athlete and was even a
member of the 1947 team that played for the basketball state championship. Bob's patriotism led him to join the Navy at age 17 and was a proud veteran of the Korean War. After the Navy, Bob was a barber at his beloved MSU for over 17 years. He then became a realtor with Walter Neller, and eventually started his own company, Campus Realty. He continued his business pursuit and started the Orange Whale eatery, then with longtime friend Rod Causie, they became owners of the legendary, Pappy's Pizza. Bob finished up his 40 years of being a real estate broker with Terry Shellhorn at Century 21; yet he lovingly referred to them as his second family. Bob, just two years ago, moved to Arizona to be with his two sons and daughter. There they turned back the clock and enjoyed the holidays as well as watching the Spartans and Detroit teams. When we think of our father, his character, wisdom, integrity, patriotism, sense of humor, and devotion toward his family all come to mind. Eleven years ago he lost his loving daughter Patricia, a year later his best friend and wife of 47 years, Maureen, and a year later, his wonderful son, Stanley. "THE EAGLE HAS LANDED." Robert is survived by daughter Julie (Bob) Hendrickson, son Foy (Susie) Ebright, daughter Rachelle (Julius) Kubin, and his youngest, Bobby Ebright; his dear sister, Jan Kingston in Ohio; and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
The celebration of our father's wonderful life will be held Saturday, August 25th at 1 p.m. at the Century 21 Looking Glass office, off of 127 at the Jolly
Rd. exit. 3490 Bell Chase Way.
