There are references in the Eby papers of David Davies(Davis) Eby of Lancaster, PA going to VA as a young man, then serving in the Revolutionary War, then going to VA again before settling in Stark Co, OH, where he died in 1823. Census records consistently show that his daughter, Sarah Salome, was born about 1798 in VA. Sarah Salome married Jacob Henry Spangle 1821 in Stark Co, OH; they moved to Crawford and Marion Co., OH by 1830 and to Noble Co, IN in the late 1840s.
My question: has anyone ever seen a reference to **where in VA David Davies Eby might have lived and during which time periods?
