Dear Carole,
My name is Kent Steinke. I found your name on the genealogy.com website.
I am a descendent of Jesse Griffen, who lived in the Crawford/Summit Township community west of Tekamah, Nebraska, where your husband's ancestors lived during the pioneer era. For several years now I have been working on a very deep research project, trying to locate descendents of people who lived in that rural neighborhood. I have evidence that our ancestors were fairly closely connected with each other, including "calling cards" from the Eby family.
What I am trying to do is to exhaustively search for all the primary sources that exist from each family in that community from that time... photographs, diaries, journals, letters, personal remembrances. I am also interested in knowing the story of each family since their times together as neighbors in the 1870s and 1880s.
If you could respond to me about this I would greatly appreciate it.

Kent Steinke
