I have never been able to find people I am certain are the parents of Jacob Eckel(s), father of Marillis Eckels Fosher, but have quite a bit of info on him. His wife Elizabeth Muller (Miller) I have been able to trace back through several very early Moravian families who came from the Palatine to Pennsylvania (what is now Northampton Co.) before 1700. If anyone is interested in hereditary societies, this line can be used for Colonial Dames, Colonial Physicians, Huguenot Society. Most of my work on this family was done before I had Family Tree Maker, so it can't be shared as e-mail attachments, but I have easy access to a copy machine.
