Jakob and Rebekah Eckhardt m. in Austria or Germany. They were carriage-makers. I would like to know more about them, their parents, etc.

It is thought that the family was of Austrian origin. Cousins in the vicinity of Middletown and Germantown, Ohio include Clarence and Freida Strassburger, and the Wolfgangs of Cincinatti, but we (the Walt Slough Jr. family http://patriot.net/~crouch/tree/jak.html) do not recall exactly how we are related to them. We believe the Strassburgers have the Eckhardt family Bible.
