OSCAR "THE OX" ECKHARDT

Does anyone know any lineage on Oscar "the Ox" Eckhardt. He was a baseball player in around the 1930s. I saw an article in the 1939 issue of the Nashville Banner that spoke of him as a minor league baseball player. I believe he was a power hitter.
