Thank you for your quick response. Since Oscar "the Ox" Eckhardt was born in late December of 1901, perhaps it is possible that your Oscar would be the father. I don't know . I also saw that a Charles Eckhardt was well-known in the history of Yorktown, TX. I am trying to see if there is a distant conection between my line of Eckhardts (who came to the Nashville, TN area in 1850s from New Orleans and some of the Texas Eckhardts. There are several given names in the lineages that seem to be the same.
