Hi
As my name shows I am from the Eckhardt family in Germany. Unfortunately after my birth the registry office made a mistake and omitted the "t" at the end of my name.
My grandmother is Emma Popp born Eckhardt in 1899.
She had Brothers and their brothers'sons;
Fritz Eckhardt
Adolf Eckhard daughter Eleonore
Werner Eckhardt also no children
last in line is Eleonore Eckhardt. She has no children
Fritz Eckhard had the traditional Piano Manufacture of the Eckhardt family. Paris gold Medal for the "Kleinklavier"
There is information that the family seal of the Eckhardt is in the Ulm Muenster in Germany.
One of the family went to USA and was involved in beer brewing and one of the brothers became a captain.
That is the rough idea I have at this point. Would be interested to see how this is matching into the line.
reg. Eckhard Goessl. My mother did gave me the name as given name to keep the family tradition alive.
