I saw the name Wilhelmina on the 1880 Census under Solomon Siegrist. Is it possible that Wilhelmina is Minnie- perhaps a shortened form?
under the name Solomon Siegrist. Could it be that Wilhelmina is Minnie-perhaps a shortened form of the name? I don't know. Minnie was born in 1874 according to a 1900 Census. This was the same year in which Wilhelmina is born. I may be right or I may be way out in left field on this. My question is this: Do you know from what city the card came to your mother? I don't know if Minnie was back in Cleveland or in Nashville or somewhere else. I may try to look into this.
