Friends,
As I was told my great grandfather moved from St Louis, Mo to Water Valley, Ms in the early
1900's even possibly the late 1800's. His name was Aldus Eckman. One of his sons, my grand father
-Eugene Eckman moved to McComb, Ms in the early 1900's and was employed by the Illinois Central
Railroad. McComb was at that time considered a main railroad (repair & overhaul) center for the ICRR
Locomotives. Eugene's wife's name was Carrie Zimmerman--they had four sons--their names are:
Edward, Frederick, James Harold/my dad and Bruce. Bruce died shortly after birth.
If anyone could provide any portion of information about the Aldus Eckman/ Water Valley Eckman's,
the St Louis, Mo Eckman's even back to the Lancaster, Pa Eckman's, I would greatly appreciate it.

James Eckman/Huntsville, Al
