My grandmother, Selma Eckman Bartlett, was of the Swedeborg, MO Eckman family (my hometown, also). Her sister, Mildred "Millie" married Joe Ledbetter of Swedeborg. As far as I know, they had no relatives in PA, and you are indeed correct that they were from Sweden. We visited their hometown of Arboga while in Sweden in 2000. Peter and Sophia Anderson Eckman came to the U.S. in the early 1870s and had six children, Alma, Peter, Andrew, Selma, Mildred and Harry. Alma and Harry lived their adult years in St. Louis, Mildred lived in Newburg, MO and the other three lived in Swedeborg until their deaths.
