My records indicate that JOHN Jacob Eckman was the son of
John Jacob Eckman
born January 1, 1757 Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
died sometime after 1784
and
Catherine Foutz
born Aril 26, 1757 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
died September 19, 1823
They were married
November 13 1782 in Trinity Lutheran Chruch, Lancaster

I show them having 5 children
Susanna Eckman,
Elizabeth Eckman,
Marie Eckman,
John Eckman, who married Susanna Groff
and John Jacob Eckman

The parents of John Eckman and grandparents of your John Jacob Eckman were
Jerome Hieronimus/Eronimus Eckman
born March 2, 1718/1719 Waldorf, Pfalz. Bayern, Germany
died April 22, 1784 Lanc. Co., Pa.
and Anna Barbara Slaymaker
born February 26, 1725/26 Strasburg Twp., Chester County, Pennsylvania (Later Lancaster County)
died August 19, 1796 Bart Twp., Lanc. Co., Pa.
They were married October 16, 1744 New Holland, Lanc. Co., Pa.
Anna Barbara Slaymaker was the daughter of Mathias Slaymaker.
