Hi there! I'm not sure if the info you have will be of use to me or not, as I only just started this search for my husband's family in preparation for a reunion we are having next summer. His name is Joel Eckman, and he is a GGGGGGgrandson of Johannes Eckman and Eva Dorothea Seitz (Sides), their son is Jerome Hieronimus Eckman...and so on.
If this is the same lineage, could you please contact me? My husband and Father-in-Law would love to see a copy of what you have in the Bible. The reason I suspect it may be along the same lines is that my FIL was born in SD in 1937.
