Hi Janice, I can not help much,but I do know that Hairston(aka Harston/aka Houston) Edds wife was Betsy ( Elizabeth ) Dudley born in @1802 in or near Campbell co.VA.He had a brother Nevels(Neville) Edds who married Lucy Dudley.The Edds brother's father was Jesse Edds and I believe Jess's father was Joseph Edds and his mother was a Leftwich. Another brother was Hunter Edds.Marriages range from 1825-1830. Hope this helps somewhat. ( The Dudleys are my line.)
