I just can't believe that he has fallen off the edge of the earth. He was sent to WV to live with Septimous O. Davis...he was sent there in 1912 and he stayed with them until at least 1920 as he is still on the 1920 Lewis County or Harrison County census. I have since found a book on the Orphan Trains and he was placed in WV by H.D. Clarke who had a lot to do with the orphan trains. In this book it shows information on Isaac, Grace, Ruth (my grandmother) Mary Elizabeth. It states that Isaac was going to run away to the Navy and was never heard from again.
Isaac was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he may not have known this, however I think he would have been old enough to remember. He spent time in Glendale in the Bethany Home system and the Cincinnati Childrens Home in Cincinnati after his father died (Francis Marion Eddy)in 1906 in Cincinnati. His mother was Missouri Ann ASH EDDY.
I would very much like to find information on Isaac, I have been searching for 17 years and my grandmother died never knowing where her brother was or what happened to him. I hope he has family that will read this and recognise the story and contact me. Hoping someone can help.
