We have very little information on Philinda Eddy or her parents, believe the parents were Samuel and Mary Eddy, but have no proof except on one of her sons marriage papers he wrote parents names as Samuel and Mary Eddy, as Oliver and his family were from the Providence, Rhode Island area and there are many Eddy's in that area, we believe Philinda family was from there to.

Philinda (Eddy) Knight
We have no date of birth or death for her, but she died before Oliver sometime after 1843 when her daughter Cynthia Day Knight was born, Oliver and Philinda were married 25 Oct. 1832, there were two children that we know of, 1 daughter, and son Byron Eddy Knight b. 17 June 1836 d. 5 June 1843
