I originally got John Lloyds middle name from an Eddy researcher when I first start digging into the family. I don't have any proof at this time. Felix, Nicholas, Edmund, Mason and George all served in the Confederate Army.
My wife's ancestor was John's son Samuel William Eddy. They left Itawamba Co., MS and settled near Mountainburg, AR. His son William eventually settled in Oklahoma.
The info that I have is that John and Malinda was married in 1811 in Warren Co. TN. Their first six children were born there. Sometime after 1821 and before 1823 they moved to Alabama. I have seen Malinda referred to as Anne.
