It has changed back and forth. 1890 TX census has EADON and after that it is always EDEN, but all the TN census records have them as EDENS (1840-1880)same family because Franklin is listed under both. I have found an Elias EADONS in Casey Co., KY in 1820 census and an Elias EDINS in Scott Co.,KY in 1810 census. Nothing so far in any 1830 census. Letter from family member in 1986 said that in 1967 family reunion the belief was we all came from Elias and Sarah EDENS originally from SC. Note from my mother says his father was James EDEN who served in Rev. War. Haven't found any connection, though. Sure connections only from 1840 Elias to son Austin Kendric to son Franklin Pierce to daughter Amanda Etta m. Lee BORAH, my grandparents. Things sure do get difficult, don't they. Thanks again for your interest.
