I am a ggnephew of Elen Hurd/Herd and was interested in your comments concerning him and his family. I have been perplexed as to the identity of his wife, and likewise her 2nd husband Edens.
Perhaps the reply to your post by Mr. Eddings is the answer.
My question to you is concerning your mention of the George G. Hurd family bible. I was not aware that this existed, so it would be of interest to me to make contact with the owner of the bible in hopes of getting some birth dates, etc. for his children.
